Mike Schlegel
President, Bozzuto Construction Company
LEED AP

As president of Bozzuto Construction Company, Mike is responsible for Bozzuto’s general contracting division, maintaining a personal involvement with each project from start to finish. He also directs all in-house activities, providing leadership and ensuring cooperation and collaboration between estimating/budgeting, scheduling, project management and supervision.

Mike has managed the construction of more than 10,000 housing units as well as projects with an aggregate value in excess of $1 billion dollars. Prior to joining Bozzuto Construction Company, Mike was a vice president with Clark Realty Builders where he was integrally involved with the startup and growth of the company. 

Mike holds a Bachelors of Science Degree in Building Construction from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University.

 
 


   

Mike Green
Vice President, Bozzuto Construction Company

As vice president, Mike is responsible for all aspects of preconstruction, project management and field operations.

He has more than 20 years experience in the construction industry and has managed and supervised the construction of more than 5,000 multi-family housing units of all types. Prior to joining Bozzuto, he served as senior construction manager for Toll Brothers, Inc. Mike majored in Electrical Engineering at the University of Alaska, Fairbanks.

 


   

Brian Grosholz
Vice President, Bozzuto Construction Company
LEED AP

Brian oversees several markets for Bozzuto Construction Company, including the renovation and reconstruction of apartment communities, hospitality, non-profit rental housing, for-sale and senior living communities.  His clients include both third party developers and Bozzuto’s in-house development and acquisitions groups.

Prior to joining Bozzuto, Brian worked for the Whiting-Turner Contracting Company where he was involved in a variety of infrastructure projects including highways, bridges, MTA stations, hospitals and other projects. He holds a Masters of Business Administration from Loyola College and a Bachelor of Science in Technology with a concentration in Construction Management from Bowling Green University.

 


   

Dave Mandes
Vice President, Bozzuto Construction Company
LEED AP

As vice president, Dave Mandes is responsible for all aspects of client relations, project management, and field operations for Bozzuto Construction’s operations in Pennsylvania, Delaware, and New Jersey. In this role, Dave has grown this region to account for about one quarter of Bozzuto Construction’s annual volume.

Prior to joining Bozzuto in 1998, Dave headed his own company where he designed and built custom homes and developed single and multi-family land. Dave holds a Bachelor of Science in Education from Millersville University.

 


   

Dave Schorr
Chief Financial Officer, Bozzuto Construction Company

As controller, Dave’s responsibility includes leading Bozzuto Construction Company’s finance and accounting department. Prior to joining Bozzuto, he held a variety of leadership and management roles with the Poole and Kent Corporation.

Dave is a licensed certified public accountant and holds a Masters in Business Administration Degree from American University of Washington, D.C. as well as a Bachelor of Business Administration Degree in Accounting from the College of William and Mary. He also serves as Board President for the UMAR Boxing Program, Inc. a 501(c)(3) non-profit group which supports at-risk kids in Baltimore City (www.nohooksbeforebooks.org).

Mark Weisner
Director of Preconstruction

As Director of Preconstruction, Mark is responsible for the overall leadership of the Preconstruction and Estimating departments where he provides insight and recommendations on site planning, schedules, design & document reviews, budgets and bid pricing prior to the start of construction keeping our clients financial and quality goals in mind.
 
Prior to joining Bozzuto Construction, Mark worked for The Clark Construction Group.  Mark spent time as a MEP coordinator, superintendent and project manager where he has participated in all aspects of construction as well as different construction types.  Mark holds a Bachelors of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering from The Pennsylvania State University in State College, PA.
 


   

Ray Day
Director of Estimating
LEED AP

As Director of Estimating for Bozzuto Construction, Ray Day is responsible for providing accurate and reliable cost information, developing and expanding Bozzuto Construction's product and trade knowledge and supporting the efforts of the Preconstruction Managers and Project Managers.

Prior to joining Bozzuto Construction, Ray was the Senior Estimator for Morgan-Keller, Inc. of Frederick, Maryland where he was responsible for estimating, project buy-out, and assisting in project management for a variety of projects.  Ray also served in the United States Navy from 1986 to 1991 and graduated Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Construction Management from Florida International University.
 


   

Josh Peters
Director, Bozzuto Construction Company

As Director for Bozzuto Construction Company, Josh is involved with every aspect of the acquisition, planning and implementation of new work. This includes providing services to existing and new third-party clients with the goal to ensure that the client’s needs are met from project conception to completion.

Prior to joining Bozzuto Construction Company, Mr. Peters was the Senior Vice President of Acquisitions and Development for Star Global Ventures. Mr. Peters has also served as a Vice President for a Construction Management and Owner’s Representative company (Daytner Construction) and as a Project Manager for both Toll Brothers and James G Davis Construction Corporation. Mr. Peters has managed the development and construction of projects totaling over $400 million dollars and 3.5 million square feet.

Mr. Peters is also a member of many local industry organizations including membership of ULI, HAND, DCBIA and a board member of the Planning and Project Development Committee for the Greater Baltimore Committee.
